Oracle / Peoplesoft Project Coordination |
Ten USM institutions have selected various PeopleSoft products as the newest generation of administrative support systems to serve the needs of students, faculty and staff. While some institutions are engaged in formal consortium approaches to project implementation and others are working more independently, this site reflects the effort of all institutions to work together in support of the total implementation effort. The role of the USM Office is to foster and facilitate these cooperative efforts. The USM goal is to assure that an environment exist in which all institutions can successfully implement these complex systems in an efficient and cost effective manner through a sharing of experiences, resources and imagination. The ultimate outcome will be the deployment of systems that reach a new level of sophistication , that give each institution the ability to provide exceptional student and faculty services, and that create a springboard for technologies of the future.
